Isabel Ryan
Position:
Cancer Support Specialist
My background is as a palliative care and acute cancer nurse.
I give one-to-one information and support and will guide you through the parts of our support that are most appropriate to you. I also run many of our support groups, workshops, and courses.
I’m here to listen – just come in.
Catarina Baptista
Position:
Clinical Psychologist
As a qualified Clinical Psychologist, I can help if things are getting on top of you, if you're scared, worried or feeling down.
We can talk about things in a safe and supportive space and you can see me in private, in a group or with your family.
Anne Foster
Position:
Benefits Advisor
I can help you to understand what you’re entitled to and help with practical things like parking permits and extra money you may be able to claim.
I’ll help you to fill out all the necessary forms, support you through the application process and can even put everything in the post for you.

Getting here by:
Car
Unfortunately, our car park will be out of use until February 2023 due to essential hospital works in our driveway.
The car parking team will allocate some spaces for Maggie’s visitors in car park 6 and spaces for people with mobility issues in car park 4 (next to Ward 1).
To access the centre by car, please drive to the Telford Road hospital entrance, follow the road to the right and speak to the parking staff at car park 6 entrance, who will advise if there are spaces.
If there are no spaces, the staff will redirect you to the 2-storey car park at the main hospital entrance.
Public Transport
These buses all stop at the Crewe Road entrance to the hospital:
- Lothian Regional Transport: 19, 19A, 28, 28B, 29, 37, 37A, 38
- First Bus: 129
Designed for you
Our beautiful building was built in 2013. It's a white building in the shape of a pebble or shell and offers warmth and a feeling of safety and protection to all its visitors.
